Meet Dr. Candace Kleven
Aloha Interior Design is a full-service interior design studio led by Dr. Candace Kleven. With a distinctive background in interior design, psychology, communication, creative arts and global living, Candy brings a deeply intuitive and soulful approach to every space she creates.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from UCLA, a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology from USM, and a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology with a Jungian Approach from Pacifica Graduate Institute - an academic journey that adds extraordinary depth and rigor to her work and expression. She also earned an Architecture & Interior Design Certification from UCLA Extension and is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Beyond formal education, Dr. Kleven has engaged in deep spiritual work through travels to India, Bali, Japan, and Egypt, as well as journeyed to Marian pilgrimage sites across Europe, enriching her designs with layers of meaning, mindfulness, and serenity.
Having lived and worked across Europe, Asia, Hawai'i, and Los Angeles, she blends cultural richness with a design philosophy rooted in emotional well-being, spiritual harmony, and authentic beauty - crafting interiors that feel as good as they look.
